The Civil Air Patrol is a great way to serve America. Our three primary missions are Aerospace Education, Cadet Programs and Emergency Services. CAP is an all-volunteer organization, made up of every day people with a wide variety of skills.

Federal, state and local authorities rely on the CAP's volunteer pilots and ground personnel to provide search and rescue assistance, disaster relief, homeland security, counter-drug operations support and career leadership training. Civil Air Patrol offers a wide variety of opportunities for adults and students alike, to learn, contribute, and grow. The Whiteside County Composite Squadron 334 offers these opportunities to serve and learn in our local community. With nearly 60,000 members nationwide, the CAP is one of the largest volunteer organizations in the country.

Civil Air Patrol welcomes cadets from the ages of 12-18 years old, as well as Senior Members of any age.
